This Shipping Policy (the “Policy”) applies to purchases made through the Ramo Trading online store and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
This Policy includes important terms for signature delivery on high-value orders and freight (LTL) shipments for large/heavy equipment.
Standard processing is typically 3–5 business days (excluding weekends/holidays). Items labeled “Special Order,” “Made-to-Order,” “Direct Ship,” or similar may require longer lead times, commonly 2–6 weeks (or as otherwise stated). We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material delays.
All delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed. Ramo Trading is not responsible for costs associated with project delays, labor standby, missed deadlines, lost profits, or other consequential losses arising from supplier, carrier, customs, or force majeure delays, consistent with the Terms of Service.
For your protection and ours, orders exceeding $500 USD (or local equivalent) may require Signature at Delivery and/or other delivery controls. You are responsible for ensuring an authorized representative is available at the delivery address. Failure to accept delivery may result in fees under our Return Policy.
Certain large, bulky, or heavy equipment may ship via freight (LTL).
4.1 Site Access. You are responsible for ensuring the delivery location can accommodate a freight truck and that access is safe and lawful (including driveway clearance, loading dock access, and delivery time restrictions).
4.2 Service Level. Unless expressly purchased, freight delivery is typically curbside / dock delivery. Inside delivery, room placement, stair carry, debris removal, unpacking, and installation are not included unless explicitly quoted and paid.
4.3 Additional Fees. Lift-gate service, residential delivery, appointment delivery, inside delivery, limited access locations, re-delivery, detention/wait time, and other accessorial charges not purchased at checkout may be billed to the customer separately at carrier rates.
Inspection at delivery is critical: inspect before signing, note specific damage on the receipt, take photos, and report within 48 hours. Signing “clear” may limit or bar freight claims.
4.4 Inspection at Delivery (Critical). You must inspect freight shipments before signing the delivery receipt. If there is visible damage, you must (i) note damage specifically on the delivery receipt (e.g., “crate punctured,” “box crushed,” “pallet broken”), (ii) take photos, and (iii) report within 48 hours.
International buyers are the Importer of Record and responsible for compliance with destination-country laws and regulations, licensing, permits, duties, VAT/taxes, brokerage, and clearance fees. Ramo Trading is not responsible for items delayed, held, or seized by customs due to buyer non-compliance or lack of required documentation.
As stated in our Terms of Service, title and risk of loss pass to you upon tender to the carrier, unless otherwise required by law. If you require shipping insurance beyond the carrier’s standard liability limits, you must contact us prior to shipment for pricing and availability.
Requests to change the shipping address after an order has entered processing may be denied. If a carrier re-route is possible, it may incur a re-routing fee (typically $20–$50, depending on carrier and service level), plus any carrier-imposed charges.
When available, tracking information will be provided via email after shipment. Some services may have limited tracking visibility.
